On May 15 the town of Santa María del Páramo celebrates one of its local festivities, in honor of San Isidro Labrador, since most of the inhabitants are farmers or live directly or indirectly in the countryside. So this is a great local party. At 13:00 a Holy Mass is held in honor of his patron, and then the image of the saint is processed, and while the fields are blessed.
To eat the Local Agricultural Board in collaboration with the City Council organize a great Paellada and then the traditional children's games and bald and frog for the elderly.
